Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you my latest crochet project.
This top is my little tribute to the vitality and growth of sunflowers. Why sunflowers? Because they’re like the sun itself: always seeking the light, full of energy and joy. So, I decided to weave a bit of that sunny spirit into this piece. ☀️
🌱 For the roots, I chose stitches in brown tones that twist around the top and bottom edge and the sleeve. I wanted to capture the organic texture of roots extending underground, like little explorers searching for nutrients. The irregular stitches add character and depth to the design. They’re like the roots of creativity!
🍃 The leaves, on the other hand, I preferred in a vibrant green. I used a cool stitch that gives them a bit of texture. I wanted them to look fresh and full of life, like the leaves of sunflowers that follow the sun all day long.
As a nature lover, knitting this top felt like connecting with nature in a special way. Each stitch felt like planting a seed and watching it bloom. 🧶 Crochet always brings me a sense of peace and satisfaction. It’s as if my hands speak a secret language with the threads, creating something beautiful from scratch.
